PUTS, the Midwest, and More!!
First things first: I want to give a huge thank you to People Under The Stairs for having us along on their short East Coast run last weekend. The 4 dates were all sold out, with an incredible capacity showing at the amazing Bowery Ballroom in New York. It was a wonderful way to spend 14 hours at home, playing in front of over 800 enthusiastic, welcoming folks. Wonderful.
Following the PUTS dates, Grieves and I hustled our way through 70 degree warmth, sleet, snow, ice, and wind to get to Columbia, MO for our first headlining show in quite some time. The crowd was...intimate...but incredibly warm and appreciative. It was a great night, despite dealing with the effects of some fatigue from the marathon journey.
After Columbia, we headed back out into the unwelcoming weather for another hair-raising drive to Fort Collins, CO. We're hiding out here, putting work in the studio on some sessions for the next full-length Grieves record, and grinding out some top-secret video work in our spare time. I've also been finishing up the final mixes for the upcoming A.R.M. EP, with some incredibly exciting feature work that will hopefully help us bring the A.R.M. movement to a whole new audience of folks;)
Oh, and the P.O.S. tour starts next week in Colorado Springs. If you're thinking, considering, pondering, or musing about coming out to one of the shows, I suggest trying to track down pre-sale tickets, as this one might verge on sold-out most nights. Just a head's up. That's all for now, friends! I've got a couple of new tunes up in the music player to the right. Enjoy!
